How to tie Bandana

Totally stupid question, but here goes:

How to do tie a bandana around my son's head so that it looks like a Pirate bandana and not something my Grandma would wear????

Make the triangle, then put the flat side towards the front of the head. Tie in the back and tuck in the point of the triangle where you tied it. Clear as mud?

My son loves to wear those and I actually finally bought one for a dollar at Walmart. It's really easy to tie and not as bulky as a bandana.
