We're back from a week long vacation. I left my house in a so-so manner. Well, I came back to it worse then we left it. My daughter and son-in-law were painting my youngest daughter's room. They got two walls primed and now everything that was in her room is ALL over my house. Ugh. So nice to come home too a half painted room and furniture everywhere.

Now I guess I need to go paint.

I AM grateful they were doing it. I just would have rather them not start if they couldn't finish.

Yea, well she gets her headstrong straights from.....perhaps....ME! LOL

I ended up staying up until 1:00 making major headway on the painting project and will finish it today.

I KNEW it was a major undertaking and she had great intentions, but like her going back to school FULL TIME in the fall with a 6 mo old baby and a husband going to school full time, what do I know? Or her taking 12 hours and delivering the baby two weeks before finals. How would I know that would be hard? hehe I may not be nearly as stupid as my kids think I am.

I was trying to play with my camera and the settings, but didn't get it out too much on the beach for fear of the wind blowing sand into it and ruining it.

Surfside. Which is the same beach that I have gone to since I was fourteen! LOL We like it because it is very family friendly. It isn't anything like Galveston with tourists. No bars, restuarants or tourist shops. I swear the water is cleaner, although I don't know how it could be.

We found several sand dollars and there was no seaweed! :)

No seaweed in the water, that is. There was some on the beach.
