This rain stinks!

I am SO tired of this rain. We can't find a time to mow! It is too wet to mow with the riding lawnmower and really our hard is too big to mow by pushmower. But, even if we did, my mother borrowed the mower and put bad gas in it, so now it doesn't work. (We just got it fixed two weeks ago too. Ugh) We have to now find a way to drain the bad gas out and run good gas back through the engine. In the meantime, we are going to lose our pets and children in the tall grass! What's up with all of this rain???

Don't use a shop vac to get that bad gas out. And don't ask me why I know :rolleyes:.

Our lawn guys came early yesterday, before it started to rain. I was sure they were going to be really behind and thought they wouldn't even get to our neighborhood until after the weekend! I don't know how they're keeping up.

I heard the neighbors mowing last night in the dark. Don't know how they did it, but they got our front lawn too, thank goodness. Now if it would stop raining long enough when DH is home so we can cut down the jungle growing in the back.

Isn't that the truth! DH could have done ours yesterday evening, but his dad called and invited us to dinner. I don't turn down dinner invitations!!! So, hopefully he can do it at some point this evening. We did get a terrible downpour very early this morning. It is shaping up to be a dismal day.
