I think a lot of people ASSume that they can do that. It's one of the reasons "hot products" are hard for the rest of us to get. I waited months to get my hands on a Wii, but they were selling on Ebay for $1K since the day they came out :rolleyes:. Kudos to Apple for the limit!

And apparently the Wii demand has yet to diminish, but you can still get one for more than 2X the retail price through private sellers. That is just wrong.

She was soooo stupid about it. Who walks around with that kind of cash (and flaunting it for the cameras?!). I cannot help but think if she'd put that money in the bank and at the very least tried to use a credit card (or debit card) to make the purchase, had she succeeded, she could have racked up a lot of Frequent Flier Miles. Cash back from Discover? At least *try* to be smart about it lol.

I was wondering if she had a mental issue, possibly bipolar. No one would normally carry that kind of cash around, let alone flash it around.

If she'd have gone to a different store she could have purchased a maximum of 2 but AT&T was limiting sales to 1 per person. Or, if she'd have been as smart as she was blonde and brazen, she would have done her homework and brought along her spouse and made plans to hit several stores.

Really sucks to be her because not only is she dumb but now everyone and their brother has seen it on television and the internet. LOL
