We went this evening to see it. It thought it was a great movie. DH really wanted to see it as he loved the first one. I only saw part of the first one on DVD (something about me and the couch and falling asleep......). It thought this one was excellent and you don't need to see the first to enjoy the second one. We took the kids since it is PG (4 and 6) and they enjoyed it as well and I didn't think they would. The movie is 2 hours or maybe a tad over but it moved quickly.

I'd love to see this one! There's several I'd like to take the kids to right now. I think we're going to see The Water Horse before school starts. National Treasure 1 was SO much fun, though, my oldest loves history and really liked that movie.

It was wonderful. I wonder how many people had heard of Cibola the city of gold!! I guess I will ask how many of my students went to see it and if they can tell me anything about it that ties in to what we have studied so far.... because the fabled Cibola was something we just studied about when we were on explorers!

Cibola really existed only it wasn't a city of gold. It was actually pueblos and when the sun hit them in just the right way from a distance they looked like a city of gold!!!

Glad everyone has enjoyed it! I always hesitate to recommend something, but this was a great movie.
