We have had problems with our DSL ever since we "upgraded" the speed. I haven't had time to call and have been putting it off since being on hold with tech support always irritates me. Anyway, my daughter called them today and complained about our DSL being slower than dial-up lately.
They came out and fixed it. I had a filter on the phone line that was connected to the computer, but didn't have one on our master bedroom jack. While he was here, he replaced all of our phone jacks with new ones. (We still had the original jacks that have four prongs and an adapter. And probably a mouse behind the wall pedaling the wheel for service.) He did it all for free too! Yea. (No, we don't have the inside repair insurance.)
Anyway, our DSL rock and rolls now. I can't believe how much faster it is. I was to the point I was pretty much only doing stuff online at other places because I would click on a page here and then go get a drink, go to the bathroom and come back HOPING it had loaded. :cool:
