I have no idea if I spelled this correctly or not, but I finally ate there today. Someone else chose it, otherwise I never would have. It was GREAT though. NOT what I expected at all. The food was good. The service was good and the place was very nice and clean. Cheap too! Three of us ate for $20.

Their chips are my favorite! They are thick and greasy...I know...gross, but I swear they are so good! We ate at one on the south side that has a bakery next to it. Yummo! We haven't eaten at the new one, yet.

It's on the northbound feeder after Rayford, I think. We love TA and go there for lunch when we are over on that side of town.

Love it! But I never get to go, I forget it is there whenever I get a chance to eat out. Staying in more lately because of the uncooperative two-year-old.

Girl, I so hear you on that one. We have found that the only restaurant our toddler can tolerate now is Olive Garden of all places. Not my top choice but the way they basically keep food on the table from the moment you walk in is what works for us. We went in for an early dinner the other day to try that new Lasagna rollatini dish they have (it was good but FATTENING) after an afternoon at the pediatrician's office. It is the immediate breadsticks and salad that keep him happy long enough for us to look over the menu. We put in the kids' orders with our drinks and so by the time he's over the salad and bread his food has arrived. Then he's kept busy by trying mine and his Dad's food as we eat so we actually were able to eat what we wanted before leaving, as well. Of course we warned our server that as soon as he brought our entrees he might as well take care of our check because we could be hit with a tantrum very soon after he's had his fill of food!
ETA: I guess I just gave a couple of good tips for dining out with a toddler, actually. Ordering their food with the first drink order (and it's best to tell the server there is no need to bring it out when it's still scalding hot---that only creates more trouble) and asking to take care of the check as soon as you get your entrees. That way if there is a meltdown you aren't sitting embarrassed at the table without a choice to pick up and go. Might sound ridiculous, but I'm sure Babyduck has been living this reality and sees why it could be necessary.
And BD: how much faster have you learned to eat your food with the little one?!?! :D *We* only get to enjoy our food if the kids are being babysat.
You'll get even more creative with a toddler and a newborn!

My kids never failed in needing to use the restroom as soon as my food arrived! After going into the restrooms sometimes I no longer was interested in eating.

My youngest went through a thankfully short-lived phase of having to check out the pottys everywhere we went. I've been so happy to finally be able to visit some places without knowing how clean the potty isn't. Blech!

I usually bring snacks, and have toys attached to her high chair cover. I order food for her immediately when we sit down. With her, I just never know if she is going to want what I get for her. She eats a wide variety of foods and will try anything, but she's so tiny, it doesn't take long for her to get full, or to decide that what I'm offering her isn't worth it because she wants something else.

My DD, who is almost 7, has to go to the bathroom the second I put my first bite in my mouth, WITHOUT fail. I think she enjoys doing that to me!

DS waits and waits to go potty. So, when he says he needs to go, he NEEDS to go. The other night we were out to dinner and he tells DH that he had to go. DH asks is he can wait a few minutes til he finished his meal. I just took DS's hand and took him myself and afterwards reminded him that when DS needs to go, he needs to go, no waiting! DD goes everywhere we go. Pick a place and ask me where the bathroom is - chances are I know and can tell you about the bathrooms condition. It's not because I'm pregnant (although that is part of it!) - it's because of DD.

Whoops. I do that all the time with those two places.
