It's that time. A time dh and I have dreaded for years. The twins need braces. Any recommendations for an orthodontist in this area. Preferably closer to I-45 and not in the back of The Woodlands.

I love this place www.woodlandsbraces.com. We use Dr. Eshelman (and he is nice to the eyes too!). It is close to McCullough so it is easy for me to get my dd in for appts either before or after school. My son goes there too for mouth expanders. They originally told us that he only needed a top one, but then about 6 months ago said he needed a bottom one and some braces early on the top teeth and they are not going to charge us since it wasn't discussed in the intial interview!
Go around and interview several of them and see which is the right fit for you. That is what we did. I have several friends that use Dr. Farley and also rave about him and then Todd Hughes is another good one - might be a bit far from you - Sterling Ridge.

I'm a big fan of Dr. Farley, but he's back here in Alden Bridge. I know that his pricing is competitive/reasonable and there is always the opportunity to have lunch at Rico's on the days they'd need to visit him ;).

I second Dr. Farley, stay away from Mardaga. I took my oldest to Mardaga and regretted it. Although Farley is in the back I love his hours, I can get a 5 pm appt, I believe somedays he's open until 6 pm. My youngest just got his off in June!
