what people are going to think of the sight of my 5yo... he's got a black eye and a cut from something over the weekend and now the dentist needs to pull one of his upper front teeth. I'm really thankful the start of school isn't for another month so that at least his eye will be healed! This poor kid has had a rough week :(.

I didn't think anything of it when I saw his black eye Saturday. I doubt people really think anything bad. Especially a little boy. Sorry he has had a bad week.

I didn't even notice he had a black eye either. Boys will be boys!

My dd accidently opened the door to the garage one day and the doorknob hit ds in the eye and gave him a really good shiner. Daycare asked him what happened, then called my husband and then called me. I was thankful that they took the time to care.

It didn't stop there, either. He tried to do something to the big chair in the living room and ended up hitting his head against the tile when he fell, with the chair on top of him :confused:. Then, something bit or stung him when the kids were in the pool and he broke out into a rash from head to toe. Sigh... I had a brief moment of excitement when I thought he had chickenpox lol. Then I found the bite!

Poor kid! In my case, that kind of stuff usually happens right before the appointment to get the kids picture taken, :-)
