It says it can work for nearly a month... has anyone here used it before? I'd just like to know what the real-world experience is...

Sounds like it might repel people too.:p

Haven't tried it myself.

Sounds like a super cool idea!
Give us a full report if you try it!

Unless you live next to a mosquito haven, make sure first that you have taken all needed steps with your yard. The little mosquitoes that you see in the day breed in little water pools that you can usually control. For example a bird bath or dog bowl. Remove things that collect water from outside. The little Tiger mosquitoes are pests and stay very close to where they are born.
1. Change pet water twice a week or more often.
2. Change birdbaths the same. Wash them out and put tap water in them.
3. Check the yard twice a week for items with standing water. Remove the water from them immediately.

The nighttime large Culex is another matter. It carries disease. You can help remove them by putting out the larvacide pills.

Other things are usually ineffective. I do not have experience with this one.

I really don't think it's possible to eliminate all of the water pools. Mosquitos can breed in as little as like a teaspoon of water, no? I have leaves on trees that collect enough water for them to breed in! No to mention the 30K gallons of water sitting in the backyard, but hopefully the chlorine count is high enough to affect the breeding? I don't really know - even tap water is chlorinated, but they can still breed in that.
