She was a gutsy and remarkable woman.

I knew she was very ill and expected her death to be soon. I'm glad she is no longer in pain.

I remember all those make up jokes!

But, I think Tammy Faye was just caught up in a bad situation her husband created. I never admired her or her husband as evangelists, but she handled herself with a lot of grace through their self created ordeal. I hate to see on the news how she suffered so with this disease. She certainly didn't deserve that. Of course, nobody does.

I hope to not see a lot of jokes about her death. She suffered enough. She should rest in peace.

It was the change from that in which I admired her so much. She ended up doing so much good in her life through her faith.

During the visit to the ortho today, I was able to read all of the celebrity magazines. One had an article about Tammy Faye. I couldn't believe she was on Larry King hours before her death. She looked horrible. Poor woman, she must have been in so much pain.

Refresh my memory, was it lung cancer?

A good friend of ours died last Spring with lung cancer. We had not seen her in a couple of years -- only spoken over the phone. We were so shocked at the viewing! It was like a different person in that casket!

Any cancer is bad. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy! For someone to keep going until the very end is admirable. I never thought I'd even remotely admire Tammy Baker, but, "never say never."

I'm pretty sure it was lung cancer. Cancer of any sort is just so hideous. My aunt died of lung cancer and it was just awful to see the pain she was in towards the end. She got down to 67 lbs.
