A short but poignant independent film on government sponsored health care
systems. Regardless of the person for whom they would vote, everyone who
plans to vote for our new President in 2008 NEEDS to see this...

Who is trying to completely change our system of health care to the Canadian system? Is there a candidate out there that believes we need to do things the Canadian way? Wanting affordable health care for the uninsured is not the same as wanting a single pay system.

Not necessarily "change to the Canadian system" but any time you speak of "govt managed health care", that thought does come to mind. Any time you "distribute" the wealth that a few people earned by working hard all their lives, sacrificing, doing without, saving and "distributing" it to the rest of the country who has done little to zilch for themselves, it brings to mind socialism at its finest - Canada.

Health care needs a different approach. Where are our thinkers in this country? The government thinks the governmentmust take care of the problem and they think in traditional ways. Build a bigger government. That solves the problem. It can help but theproblem is deeper than what is being offered. A bandaid to fix the bleding in the heart is not a good idea. We need to address the real problem, not find some bandaid that costs us all a lot of money. Let's look at the economy and the value we place on professional services and the way the health system runs due to our irresponsible goverment subsidies. You think you kow what you are paying for health services and health insurance already? Take another look outside of the numbers posted, but inside the health care system, inside the insurance companiers, inside the doctors office, inside the hospital, inside Medicare, inside the entire economic chain of the medical industry. Look at inflation in side the medical system and compare it with inflation of the general economy. So why is our interest focussed on government insurance? Guess!
