Prayer request

Both my eldest son and I have two dear friends who are in the hospital. His buddy, Dan, just had brain surgery and I just discovered my friend, Kari, is fighting a type of bacteria meningitis. I'm always amazed with what the power of prayer can accomplish. Any prayers anyone would like to offer is greatly appreciated. These are people who are our ages and really brings to light the uncertainty of life.

Talked to my Kari's husband today. I'm really worried about her, and will probably be making a trip up to Seattle next weekend to see her. :(

Thanks for all the prayers. Both friends are doing better. I got to speak to Kari on the phone last night. She still has a lot of healing to do but, I can't explain how wonderful it was to hear her voice. And Dan should be home in his own bed by tonight. :bliss:
