Nobody wants to work their ABS. This isn't a cheap one, it was almost $200

I win! Mine's been used only once. But it keeps me from storing more crap under my bed :p.

I've always wondered about those? Is it one of those things where only the fit and healthy need try it...or is it easy enough to use for fat little squatty bodies? Do they work? I mean if you actually use it on regular basis...is there anything that would actually strengthen your abs like if you did crunches every day?
If any good positive answers to these questions, I would sure take it. I find most exercise equipment requires you to be pretty strong and fit for you to be able to use it. I'm 4' 11" and about as unfit as a person can be...like if I get on the floor, there better be someone around with a cherry-picker to pick me up.

That's just it - with this, you don't have to get on the floor. I've been doing ab-work recently on the floor (I totally forgot that I had the AB Lounger lol) and it kills my tailbone so badly that I have to prop a pillow up under me, even on carpet. I should really try this stuff with the ABL.
I don't think you have to be fit to use this - it's just like doing sit-ups or crunches, but the machine is designed to make you use your abs to bring your upper body forward. You can "cheat" and use your arms, but it's defeating the purpose. The nice thing about it is not having to get on the floor, though.

Not to be a 'negative Nelly' but I swear I've seen the AB Lounger at practically every garage sale I've ever been to! This leads me to believe that they don't work as promised. On the other hand it *could* just be many people are not disciplined enough to actually use them and decide storing them isn't worth it. They fold up; remind me of lawn chairs size-wise.
Shoot, the price is right for giving it a try, though! (I have *enough* of Mdonn's stuff in my house already! :D He'd feel right at home here! lol)

Really, it works fine... the problem is it's just like every other piece of exercise equipment - you have to *use* it to get it to work ;). Mine doesn't work at all being stored under the bed lol. And the treadmill doesn't do what it's supposed to either - but it's great for hanging laundry on!

Amen bout the having to use it, LOL. Wilson, if you don't have to get on the floor, where do you put it? Bed? Sofa? I don't get it.

You have to use it and it folds up.
It's like a lounge chair.

Yes... it looks like a lawn chair that met LayZBoy. It sits like a chair/lounger.
