That IS great advice. I have way too many towels. Dh keeps saying to cut them up and use them as dish towels. I was going to just throw them away.

I couldn't have found this at a better time! We are getting rid of a bunch of towels. I will take them over to the shelter. Can you give me a little bit of an idea where it is?

It's on 242, at the end of the overpass (not I45 overpass, the one just past Pho's/Mama Juanita's, to the East of 45). I've not figured out a way except to take the 242 down until it's safe to do a U-turn, then head back towards I-45, but don't take the overpass... stay to the right and there's a little driveway (but not the road, go just past a real road to the driveway that connects to 242) and behind the trees you can see the Animal Shelter building.

How about some throw pillows and sheets? We bought a king size bed this weekend (had to have something bigger to fit ALL the dogs in, ya know). Anyhoo, we have a ton a sheets and throw pillows we were just going to toss as well. My hubby is willing to drive the whole lot over tonight if you think the shelter could use those as well??

I am sure they would take them! I took a bunch several years ago and I know there were sheets in there.
