I never tracked down my stylist from Chey Shay Nobelle, so I am looking for another. This last time I used Sam's Salon over in Oak Ridge out of desparation on Memorial Day. She did a good job, but still not a "great" job.

I have THICK, natural curly hair and I need someone that can work with it. There is a way to cut it so it doesn't "poof" out. Other ways can actually make me look like an afro. Like the people with the thinning scissors. Stay away from me. That just POOFS my hair out even more.

I use Jessica at Salon Moda. They are VERY reasonable on their prices and I think my hair looks better than it has in YEARS!

Jessica ROX! 281-353-7799 Salon Moda has a Myspace page and lists their prices, location, etc.

Good Luck! Finding a good hair-dresser is quite important to us gals.

I am told that the ladies who do hair where my wife works do great jobs. I am unsure about relative pricing. These ladies are accustomed to curly thick hair because they have been doing Latino work for years. They were in POSH but decided that was not a good place to be and moved across the street to their own leased place. My daughter goes there and only there and I know the one lady does a great job on her. My daughter has beautiful long thick curly hair but prefers to have it ironed and shaped. If she trusts her, then I would say the lady is quite good because believe me, my dauighter is soooo particular. That lady did her graduation and prom styling and does all of her special occassion hair work.

I don't know if I missed something, but where does your wife work? Do you have a picture of your daughter's hair?

It is a little salon two doors down from the dance place on Budde Rd, behind Walgreens. We have not been advertising yet because all the work processes have not been established. A new outside banner is being created for it as an external sign. The two hair stylists started the place and my wife joined them later. It has not been open for long. They moved from Posh to ths salon earlier this year. The current banner says Hair by Natalia and another lady whose name escapes me at the moment. I can find som epictures of my daughter a couple of years ago and send to you. I won't post it. I am going to do a photo shoot of her myself soon.
