OK EVERYONE, I am willing to match donations up to 300.00 so please dig deep in your pockets. RC

Folks, E-rescue was contacted about a mother border collie who was abandoned by her owners over two years ago. Crissy, has been living on the streets fending for herself and having litter after litter of puppies since. One very kind woman has also been regularly spraying Crissy with Raid because she said “she did not like her trying to sleep on her porch”.

A friend of E-rescue’s who often helps us with transport went out to find and fed Crissy and find her puppies. Out of the last litter of 6 she was only able to find 2 of the puppies. Crissy has been described as incredibly sweet and gentle and even loves to give kisses. She is very beautiful but also very thin.

I know that there are many deserving animals out there with a sad story but this one really got to us. E-rescue is going to take Crissy and her two babies, Sage and Clara and we are going to show them that there are some kind humans in the world. If you can please help us with boarding and vetting of these three. If you cannot please forward their story on to your lists. These three should be here by Thursday morning.

If you would like to donate to help us help them, please go to www.e-rescue-houston.org and click on the donate button or please send your donations to

Update: The girls are in Houston and safely resting at Noah's Ark Grooming and Pets. Crissy is reported to be a very sweet dog and a wonderful Momma Dog!

I want to thank everyone who has been so generous in sending in donations

That's good news! I do hope they can find a long-term/forever-home family for them.
