I'm so proud - 8yo DS wanted to take the kayak out by himself today and he rowed it all over the pond!

That is in another part of The Woodlands - my inlaws' house backs up to that. It's fantastic!

They've lived in TW since '83. Two houses in Grogan's Mill and 1 in Panther Creek.

I knew your hubby grew up here. I just didn't realize they still did. I love having family nearby. Wait, did I just say that? LOL Anyone that knows my mom, knows that she lives too close. It IS very nice to have family by though at times.

They love it here. They did talk about moving to Australia a few years ago, but it didn't pan out. They've got a lot of friends here and I think this is where they'll stay.

I'm trying to convince my dad to retire here. He is living in Germany now, but would fit right in around the golf courses here!

I keep trying to get my parents up here, but my mom is helping take care of her parents so they need to stay in Clear Lake for the time being. I think my dad would love the golf, as well.
