Cheerioooooo. My name is Basil the Basset. I'm a lovely Basset gent who makes people laugh when they see me. I guess you can say I'm a bit of a clown. But I've come to find out that a person can't look at a hound dog with out smiling!!! I've just been rescued and will be at adoptions on Saturday, so come on by for a spot of tea. Toodle-oo and Pip-pip
Here's what E-Rescue has learned bout Basil:
Talk about a lover boy. This fun loving basset/lborder cross is full of confidence and happiness. Bass is fully housebroken and has shown himself to have the highest standards known to dogs in such matters. He loves baths and walks, and rubs and to be carried like a baby in your arms.
On a walk sometimes Bass will just look around and sound his basset voice - just celebrating the happiness of his day- and he'll look at you as it to say, "isn't life great?" He's not much into scenting on a walk, he does some regular dog sniffing, but he is much more interested in you!
Now when you sit on the ground with Bass, he instantly crawls in your lap for a cuddle. Bass will love a family that is into physical affection. He likes to love and be loved with his whole little short body. He loves other dogs and greets them with tremendous happiness.
