Anyone watch this show? OHMYGAWD! I can't believe how bad the house they have on there is today.:eek:

I went to the website and readers sent in pics of their homes:

What the HELL? Who lives like that? I'll have to show DH that his idea of messy is way off! If I leave a pile of clean clothes for more than a day he gripes. Those pics were DISGUSTING.

Hey, what channel does that show come on?

Boy, I'm feeling better tonight! I stay disgusted with my house, but I see I don't have it "THAT" bad! (Although I could empathise with a few pics!)

It made me feel good too. I am constantly thinking I should be doing more, etc... But, compared to those houses, I am Martha Stewart. As I have always said, clutter is one thing, but filth is another!

The house they showed today had plants coming in through the window from the outside. There were fish tanks with water and dead fish from MONTHS ago. It was unbelievable.

I don't remember which channel. The Learning Channel perhaps? I was flipping through the channels when I saw it. I rarely get to watch anything I want, so I have no idea what comes on the upper channels. I barely knows what comes on the local channels every now and then. (Anxiously awaiting Grey's Anatomy & Desperate Housewives premieres.)

Yes; one is actually a 'step' for me, DH's first marriage. Then my oldest is from my first, so the younger two are the only ones we've had together. However I always say to them that there are no "steps" in our family because we all love each other the same. I love having all boys, it was exactly what I wanted! I feel so proud when we have all 4 of them together and are out and about together. Of course sometimes I wonder if people look at me and our oldest and wonder if I had him too young! (I was only 14 when he was born!) Very good kids; I'm super lucky. Plus I just love being the only female at home ;) It has it's benefits.

********I just reread this for the first time and realized it sounds like I'm saying I had a kid at 14!!!! This is my step son I was talking about; SO is 7 yrs older than me.******

how can people live like that.......I had a friend in high school who lost his father. So the mother and kids just lost it. We wouldnt go in but the house was so dirty and nasty the smell caused the people next door to move. They had 5 cats and 3 dogs. the cats and dogs would do their bathroom any where. I know for a fact that i saw pooh on the same mcdonalds wrapper in jan when i went back in july it was still there...just little smaller than before. When my friend moved out and join the army. He returned home with a woman. The mother paid a guy 3K to clean the house. Took a full dumpster just for the living room. They raked out the trash and was using shoves to throw the stuff out the window and doors.
