So, do you believe he didn't think he was that contagious? I think he just REALLY wanted to go on his trip and then really wanted to get home. And, just "hoped" he wouldn't get anyone sick.

The coincidences/circumstances are so odd - the FIL is a TB researcher and he's a personal injury lawyer? I'm coming up with conspiracy theories already...

Maybe the FIL purposely infected him because he is upset that his daughter is marrying an ambulance chaser. I think it looks suspicious.

I was just watching Numbers and it was similar to the Branch Davidian standoff. Amazing how life is giving all of the crime shows material to work with. Last week or so one of the shows was a knockoff of the Anna Nicole saga.

I'm not sure what to think. I saw the guy's apology and it seemed sincere. I agree familygal - I think he was just hoping for the best and got caught.

I don't know- I can understand him at the begining, when they didnt know what type of TB he had and he really wanted to get married. But his doctors called him over seas and told him to get to the hospital where he was at and not to travel, he should have been resonsible enough to do that and worry about getting home later.
I dont know all about the conspiracy theory- why would the FIL risk his daughter getting TB?

I wonder what this guy's life is going to be like now? Locked up in a hospital? You gotta think he is probably pretty freaked out.

talking about Law & Order they had one on last night about a former child star who was murdered- the show he acted on was just like Saved by the Bell, and the guy who died was the character just like Skreech.Probably a pretty scary episode for the real Skreech actor, lol!

This guy is not an idiot, he managed to get through law school.

He knew he was contagious - all tb is extremely contagious. He just thought his vacation was more important then other people's health.

What if there is/has been a young child or old person near him on plane? He may have just given that person a death sentence. I hope they throw him in jail.

And what of the border guard who let him through with a flagged passport? Are they going to let terrorists across the border with small pox because they seem ok?

I'd like to see them both in jail for putting people at grave risk.

I really don't understand how someone diagnosed with a disease like TB which is airborne contagious can be allowed to leave the supervision of a doctor. I know that this would be taking away someone's freedom, but it's more important that a widespread epidemic is not started.

I've only seen it a few times. I haven't decided if I like it or not. I don't look for it to watch. I just watch it sometimes when it is the best to choose from. It's way over my head in the math.:o
