Oversalted Burger Leads to Charges

This is ridiculous. After one bite, he should have just taken it back. To have charges pressed, it overkill. (Although I agree they shouldn't have served it.)

What? This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! I sure hope the DA throws out those charges, and I'd file a formal complaint for abuse of his position against that police officer.

What do you think that police station would have done if someone just off the streets called to report the crime of a salty burger? The "hot coffee" lady had to sue -- nobody got arrested!

Now, I have heard of people doing things to food that really would be a health concern, but too much salt? PULEEEZE!

Yep, that's a pile of horse doogy. This ought to get the officer fired or severely reprimanded. Wasting whomever's time it takes to arrest, process, try the case, etc.

Must have been a slow news day too!
