I didn't watch much - mainly just Britney. I didn't think it was as bad as the press is saying. I hate that they are calling her fat. I wish I looked that "bad" after 2 kids! I've heard numerous things - that she heard what Sarah Silverman was going to say about her kids and was mad, that she was just extremely nervous, etc. There was supposed to be a whole thing with mirrors, etc. and it didn't happen. I read that the VMA's changed it at the last minute so she didn't have time enough to prepare since they pulled the plug on what was planned. She was working with Criss Angel for weeks prior to all of this.

What Sarah Silverman said about her kids made me angry. Make fun of Britney all you want - she is an adult. But leave the kids out of it. There was nothing funny to me about what she said at all.

She did have a little "paunch" to her, though - which might not have been so bad had she not been out partying 24/7 the 3 days in Vegas leading up to the show. I have a hard time sympathizing with her... she's had plenty of chances to do it right - she's obviously still got enough clout in that world to have opened such a huge awards show when she's not had a record in 2+ years! She should have been a little more respectful to the few remaining fans that she has. That number was choreographed for a zombie and that was what she gave it. She should officially "retire" and quick yanking chains about a comeback because she's just not that into it.

She needs to get her $hit together and take care of herself and her kids. Her kids were already headed for being screwed up just being a popstar's offspring, but now with a screwed up mom, they will surely be drug addicts by their preteens. They can just party WITH mom. :(

It cracks me up how a bunch of ZERO talent chunky butts sit around and write news articles how she is fat. Anything for mag and paper sales. I bet millions of ladies that have had 2 kids WISH they were that "fat".
