They don't even look "that" much alike, anymore. But, I still get this!

Okay, they don't use the word "evil," but they still point the fingers. And, if they can't blame their sister, they'll blame "the other kids!" Ack!

At what point can I go running and hide somewhere?

LOL! We'll see! Gotta travel to Louisiana (EAST!) later that week. Step-son is getting married! HE was ten just yesterday!

Thanks, Wilson!

I'm still not sure the boy has his head screwed on straight, but I love him, and I love his wife! I love that grandbaby, and the one on the way. I just wish they weren't so far away!

Thanks! The first was premature, so I'm praying for an easier time for her with the second. I like her a lot, and am so glad things have worked out for these two. I'm looking forward to the wedding, but really dreading the drive!

I might actually be able to make the 15th. The wedding is on the 20th, we'll leave the day before. Maybe two days before. (Hate to make the kids miss too much school).

Did someone say Mexican food?

I understand you not wanting them to miss too much, but family is way more important. Besides, they are in the younger grades and can easily catch up. Take your time on your trip and enjoy it! Your stepson's wedding day will only come once.

I'm certain I'll be in town on the 15th, but not sure how busy I will be getting ready for the trip. I gotta eat, though, right? LOL!

Family, you are right, and I'm not really worried about the younger ones. I'm a little more worried about how much the 4th grader might miss. Still, I'd like to somewhat divide up the trip -- drive to West Louisiana, take a day or two break before driving over to East Louisiana. It's about a 7 hour trip, with kids, to drive straight through. You wouldn't think that would be the case, but there are so many little small towns with really low speed limits to go through. It's just a hard trip!

They could miss two days, easy enough, and maybe the following Monday.
