Does anyone know if the date listed on the calendar on this site is correct for the CISD to begin on August 27. DD and I are trying to do some planning for baby sitting purposes? Doesn't school usually start earlier than that?

August 27 is correct. The kids have almost 13 weeks of summer this year.

They used to start much earlier than that! It is nice for them to have a long summer and my twins actually have a b-day in the summer! (8/25). That's the first thing they noticed.
