Where, besides MoCo can I take photography lessons? Anyone know?

This site has wonderful information. I've been using it for about 6 months and can see huge changes in my pictures. I've put into practice only a quarter or less of what I've learned there so far too.

This week I'm experimenting with the aperture settings:

Thank you! I checked out the photos on your site and you have GREAT photos! I will definitely check out that site.

What kind of camera do you use? I have a Kodak Z650 which I love, but is a basic camera. I love the fact that I can buy different lenses for it, but I am getting ready to purchase an SLR. Just can't decide on the Nikon, Canon or Pentax. And, if I really want to spend upwards of a $1,000 on a camera yet.

In reality, I want 2 cameras - the Canon Digital Rebel XT and the S3IS. The little one will take movies and the XT is the SLR.

The Kodak takes great pictures actually. I just don't like the lag between shots. I have missed a lot of shots because of it. For a non-SLR, I LOVE it. I have a wide-angle lens, telephoto lens and many different filters that I use.

My daughter brought the baby over unexpectedly this morning (they are moving their furniture from College Station), so I am babysitting. I just took about 40 pictures of her hoping to get a great shot! But, she just went to sleep and there are only so many sleeping baby shots you can take. :D

Mine is similar to yours, I have the Kodak Z612. But I have been lusting after a n Olympus SP-550UZ. It has 18x zoom. Mine doesn't take extra lens and is very slow writing to the card too.

Is that the baby I just saw in the flickr photos? She's gorgeous!

Yup, that's her. I didn't get much done today because even when she was sleeping I was just staring at her (or snapping pictures).

Oh wow! Thanks for that link - I can't wait to check it out. I have been wanting to take photography course for some time now. I have a Toshiba I bought off of Ebay and I love it but don't really know anything about it so I just point and click and hope it turns out ok. Don't really have time to take class right now so hopefully this website will help me do it on my own. Thanks.

Here is a link a lady from a local group. She teaches the photography class, but there are tons of other fun looking classes as well.
