ohhhhh! After much thought...when I removed ALL carpeting from the downstairs, I decided ont he Dirt Dog - it is for garages, can pick up nuts and bolts - and has a larger compartment for what it picks up.

With four (wait...now five) animals and two kiddos, my floors have to be swept twice a day!

I LOVE this little guy! This is what he picked up int he living room in 30 minutes after I didn't sweep for two days. (yes, those are legos!)

And...the floor did NOT LOOK that dirty! It went under the furniture and deep into the corners! This one costs much less than the others and is better for *ahem* dirtier families like my own....

Sadly, that looks familiar! My Roomba now sells an optional "pet cleaner" attachment that has a bigger brush and maybe a larger compartment for the dog hair. But if I ever need a new one, I think I'll look into the Dirt Dog! That's impressive!

My scooba died this week. I'm waiting and watching for the UPS truck to bring me my new, industrial strength one. Love these robots.
