Did anyone else notice this? Nick Channel stopped broadcasting today, and just had some messages on the screen: "Go out and play. Bounce a ball. Ride your bike. Get some exercise. Stop slouching." LOL! It took me a while to figure out what was going on, but good for them!
Of course, I'm a "bad mom." I made the kids fold some towels and go buy a birthday gift. They do have other stations, but I left it on Nick. (Of course, their website was still up!)
That was really pretty cool!

That is cool. I just went outside for the first time today (been knocked out on meds) and it is VERY nice outside. I felt guilty missing such a great day.

It was nice out today. I had a stomach virus last week, so have been playing "catch up" around the house. But, one of the young'uns wanted to go "shoot some hoops," and in spite of not really wanting to do it, I had to go do it! We had a good time! She had a "too big" basketball, and once she found the smaller ball, actually made a few.
I get so focused on what I need to do, sometimes. Family, I know you have health reasons, but I really have no good excuse.
But, no guilt! Guilt is bad! Very bad!! For both of us.

My kids are in Galveston this weekend with their Oma & Opa. It's been great weather - I know yesterday they went to the Flight Museum, the beach, then the hotel "waterpark" (big slide and grotto, but my kids have always called it the waterpark lol), then Rainforest Cafe with the Riverboat ride.
It's always amazing to me how much stuff grandparents can cram into 1 day lol. My parents do the same thing! I cringe when the kids go anywhere with grandparents because I know they'll come back *exhausted* lol.

I thought that was really cool of Nick to do. Imagine how much $ they must have missed out on with no advertising all that time! My boy Rocko was none too pleased with it when he wanted to watch Spongebob before his nap. Luckily he has the DVDs.
